Our story so far and where we’re headed.

Leap of faith
Yuan Chong, co-founder left a role as a National Sales Manager for a well know fintech lender to become a broker because he recognised the need for business owners to make informed decisions when choosing a loan. Having seen, time and time again business owners coming unstuck with loans they obtained either directly or indirectly that negatively impacted their growth, he needed to establish a fee free service that can assist clients in this journey.
What do you mean tech?
After 4 years as a broker’s broker specialising in cashflow finance supporting small to medium sized brokers, Sqale was established to bring scale to the services in helping more clients. Leveraging technology, Sqale has developed their own in-house suite of powerful tools to streamline loan applications for speedy approvals between our clients and lenders.

We’re more than just a broker

Sqale is more than a broker that obtains loans. We are passionate about supporting businesses in our community towards successful outcomes. This means we take a careful advisory approach to ensure our client make an informed and strategic decision when selecting finance.

Our leadership team

The team is headed by two directors with over 8 years of commercial lending. Bringing together a forte of Business Advisory, Chartered Accountancy, SMSF Advisory, Home Loan and Commercial Lending.

I am an entrepreneur with a passion for sales and service. After 3 years in finance recently and over 12 years of being a business owner I saw a gap in the market for both referring partners and SME’s. Sqale was established as a result of economic conditions from the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously a national sales manager for one of Australia’s top fintech lenders, this has equipped me with a deep understanding of funding for small to medium sized businesses.

Truth is I’ve seen so many businesses make ill equipped decisions on a loan product. My mission is to ensure clients knows the in’s and out’s of their decision; happily knowing they are on the road to success.
